Are you a complainer? Do you blame others for your lack of success? Do you feel like the world owes you something?
If you answered yes to any of the previous questions, don’t feel bad. Most of today’s society is lockstep in your world.
The question I would like to ask you is this…how has that worked out for you? Has it improved your life?
The truth of the matter is, everything you are currently experiencing, is due to choices you have made in the past. Everything…EVERYTHING!!
Truth be told…the blaming and complaining game is nothing but a time and energy suck! It will never improve your results.
Each of us has the ability to control three areas of our life:
- The thoughts that we think.
- The images that we project and visualize, in our minds.
- The way we choose to act…our behavior.
Our reaction to these three key elements determines what comes next. Whether we choose to act in a positive or negative fashion, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Focus on the positive. Don’t blame others for your lack of success!
Continually focusing on the positive or the negative will rewire your brain to automatically point you in that direction. It has been well documented that as much as 95% of what we do is driven by our subconscious mind.
If your brain is continually wired toward a negative approach, your results are likely to be negative. It’s quite clear that a mind focused on the positive creates a blueprint for success!
Wouldn’t you prefer a positive outcome?
You must be brutally honest with yourself! You must pay attention to the way you think. What kind of images do you visualize? Are you constantly in a state of mind that prevents successful behavior?
To be successful…it is imperative that you begin by acknowledging the truth!
It was your thoughts, your feelings, and your choices that led you to where you are right now. It was not someone else or their ideas. It is called 100% RESPONSIBILITY!
Don’t blame others for your lack of success…
So how do you break this vicious cycle of negativity? How can you break through into a positive mindset?
It is simpler than you think. It begins with your belief. An undeniable and unbreakable certainty, that you are ALREADY successful!
Recently, I watched a video of a Tony Robbins sit-down with John Reese and Frank Kern…all highly successful entrepreneurs.
Visibly frustrated, John and Frank were searching for answers. They asked Tony why he thought there are not more success stories in the entrepreneurial world? The three of them discussed what causes people to invest in training programs…then rarely complete them.
Tony shared with John and Frank, a simple belief concept that centers around certainty…not just believing. Certainty comes from the massive belief that you will push through to success, no matter what! The belief that you have already attained the success you want!
Tony produced a simple sketch of the following four elements.
- Potential – Potential is within each individual.
- Action – Potential is never achieved without Action.
- Results – Action always yields Results.
- Belief – Results that you attain, affect your Belief.
These four elements make up what I call The Success Loop.
Failure is not an option! Success is inevitable…if you are fueled by certainty.

Here is the bottom line…whatever happens to YOU in life is either created or allowed by YOU!
If you don’t like the challenges that occur in your life, change your attitude. Approach those challenges with an unlimited amount of certainty that you have already overcome them. Fill your brain with what I call positive power images. Images that demand action. When this happens, you will look down on your challenges, instead of looking up at them. They will appear very small.
The concept is simple, but not easy. If it were simple and easy, no one would try and everyone would be wildly successful. Success requires discipline, work and adaptability. Success requires a focused awareness of the roadmap to achieve your goals. Success is impossible without being willing to take risks.
My question for you is…are you willing to do whatever is necessary to succeed?
Are you ready and willing to be brutally honest with yourself about every aspect of your life? If you answered yes to the previous two questions, then you are on your way to the winner’s circle.
